This iis my opinion. For the opposition to win this time, there must be a
record voter turnout. When one looks at some of the statistics the levels of
turnout are extremely low. Someone told me that the turnout during the last
presidential elections was about 73% out of about 440,000 registered voters.
I believe a 12% increase here would mean an increase of about 55,000 votes
for the opposition. I say this out of the belief that almost all APRC
supporters are voting.
But, most importantly, there must be a United Opposition as soon as possible.
This would combine the 'pulling and intellectual power of the opposition
parties and would thus provide a more formidable opposition. I simply do not
believe the UDP can do it alone.
-This is my two cents for now
