If you have problems with locating the right people to help you and also
encouraging your parents to allow you to try this, I would just schedule an
appointment with your doctor because they're also a good resource in
locating information like this.  About your parents I have met them in
person a few times, I feel that they would support anything you may want to
try.

  able to find them through your State Dept. of Developmental Disabilities.
  Sometimes as at my agency, they have both Supported Living and Independent
  Living services. it's possible one may help you to find the right place
for
  you. You might also want to check out group homes, which is what
Cornerstone
  sounds like to me.
