Well Joanne, it seems like it's time to take a breath for a moment. What a
scary thing to have to deal with though. Do you have an updated Outlook
Express, you might want to try to delete it and then reload it, then go to
the microsoft site and make sure you have an updated version. ARGH!!

Subject: Been several *interesting* weeks

My sweet, highly intelligent, only daughter managed to crash our hard drive
with a double whammy of downloading to many songs from I-Mesh as well as up
loading the SirCam virus. Took a week to reformat my hard drive. For
whatever reason I haven't been able to us Outlook Express as it refuses to
receive mail saying my password is corrupted ( it really was a very clean
password, honest:))So right now I'm learning to use hotmail. My first
attempt at signing up for an account had me as under 13 yrs of age and
needing my parents permission. If they want to make me 23 again ,however,
I'm more than willing to think about negotiating that devils pact!!!!
Second attempt to sign up went through and new addy is
[log in to unmask] This past Sunday that only daughter left to drive
down to New Orleans to start her first year of law school at Tulane
University...right into the face of Hurricane Barry. If you'll all notice
Barry hastily went into a big wet storm from a hurricane when Jen face it
down( Thank goodness). Monday I had an appointment with the neurology dept
to discuss a change in migraine medication as the one I was using (MIDRIN)
wasn't working very well anymore. The reason ended up with me being admitted
from the appointment straight to the neurology unit on an ER basis. Seems I
wasn't having migraines but TIA's ( mini strokes). Testing showed the left
carotid artery blocked 60%. I'm now on some heavy duty anti-platelet med's
since I'm allergic to Coumadin. It's a whole bunch of pills which are a lot
easier to take than the 2x/day injections of heparin in my belly. Waiting to
hear about date for MRA to see if the blockage is plaque or clot related as
I have a condition called anti-cardio-lipin syndrome which is an auto-immune
disorder that causes the platelets to stick and form clots. It's also a
leading cause of repeated, unexplained, repeated miscarriages, stillbirths
and premature births. Glad to be back home and returning to work today. Even
gladder that the heat broke. Kids will start to head back to school in 3
weeks and I think everyone is ready. I know I am!!!!
Just want to say hi and share new email addy ...the one that has me older
than 13:)...
Joanne
