Hi George,

First, my call is G3WUX, hi!

Our society was the Visually Impaired Radio and Electronics Society,
(VIRES). Sadly, this society seems to have folded since the committee has
done nothing since being elected. Rob Powell and I set it up about five
years ago, but since then our lives have changed. Rob has moved to
Wiltshire, changing jobs and I've gone self employed. So, not only should we
have passed the reins to others anyway, but we've become too pre-occupied
with other things to get too deeply involved.

The couple who were Treasurer and newsletter editor/list moderator seem to
have split up and moved off somewhere. The list is still there but nothing
else.

Very sorry to report this tail of woe.
