Yes, the pdf2txt address will work, *provided* that there is any text
to translate. In other words, if the PDF consists merely of a picture
of text, the Email address won't convert it any better than the
accessibility plug-in will.

Really, I believe that the manuals you want can be had from George
Fanjoy VE3PEB (??) who is from the CNIB ham radio thingy. He has
Kenwood manuals for several different radios.
