Hello All

I have just been reading the back mail on earthing in what here in the
U.K. we call 'flats'.

The comments about plastic pipes are only in part correct.  If a
conductive connection n can be made at the shack end, and the pipe is
full of water, that is, it is a rising main, then the earth will be made
as tap water is conductive.
Waste pipes are likely not to be full so are probably not useful.
