Yes,

I have question surounding the the cake mixes and other mixes. I have been
experimenting with different store bought kind, as a Celiac (oppose to making
cake mix with the old mixes) I find a lot of the mixes to be heavy for
instance the pound cake you buy in comparison with the kind for Celiacs
appears to be heavier in weight and in ones stomach. it's like eating blocks
of bricks. It seems like alot of these mixes use 4 lg eggs and lots of
butter, plus some have a variety of flours and starches. When I bake it is
for the whole family not just me my husband complains about the heaviness of
the mixes and indigestion after them. I mix it just like it says, but could
be not beating enough or beating to much, or it could be everything in the
mix.

Is their any gf brands that you have tried that doesn't seem to be calling
for so many eggs and have all that heavy flour and starch? I do not want to
give up my cakes esp pound cake, choc and rasin bread? Like I said I've
already bought several from different vendors on this site and I really want
something less heavy.

Thanks C VA
