I think you can go to 16x (1600%). One thing I noticed is that if you are
using the plug-in with an Internet browser, you may not be able to use the
keyboard shortcut but instead use the mouse.

Adobe Acrobat reader has magnification built into it. Just press
Ctrl+(plus
sign) to magnify and Ctrl+(minus) to make smaller.
