There was a comment on the list concerning cellulose as a
gluten-containing flour.

All the replies I received when I questioned this comment said cellulose
is not a flour. I will list only two of the replies:

_________________________________________________________

Cellulose is not flour. it's an inert carbohydrate, (C6 H10 O5), the
chief constituent of the cell walls of plants and of wood, cotton, hemp,
paper, etc.

_________________________________________________________

Cellulose is indigestible plant fiber, as in what is used to make paper
from wood.

By definition it can't be flour or glutenous, since gluten is digestible
(at least to non-celiacs).
