Wondering if anyone finds dry mouth to be a problem and if so what you've found to remedy the situation. I believe my inability to produce saliva is due to a neuro-muscular condition, not celiac, but thought I'd inquire anyway...
This, as well, may be a unique experience, but to remedy the above situation I've always relied on sugar-free gum but suspect this may only be compounding the problem due to the natural and artificial flavors present in the gum. I am allergic to soy in addition to gluten and as I understand it these flavors can be derived from either...?
Has anyone had success with saliva substitute or prescriptions such as Salagen?
Any input would be welcome.
