To All,

The last system I set up was a AMD K62-550. I now have a Athlon 1.4 GHz (266 FSB) and an Asus K7V133 Motherboard. I went to the AMD and ASUS sites for set up info, but couldn't verify some basic setup details. Just want to blow following by group and make sure I've got it right.

CPU External Freq = 133
Multiplier = 10.5 (133 x 10.5 = 1400) 

(The front side bus is then set at twice CPU external Freq? Right?)

I also have a Volcano 5 Themaltake cooler. It has a piece of sticky tape which says to remove before install. Is this some type of thermal compound? Or do I need to also use thermal grease?
