Promise FastTrak RAID cards - 100 vs. 66

Hello All,

I'm looking to buy a Promise FastTrak RAID card. I have an IBM Deskstar
ATA/100 20GB drive now and want to get an identical drive to hook up to the
RAID card. Will the Promise FastTrak 66 work with my 100 drives? I'm
assuming it would but the drives would be limited to 66 transfer rates. If
so, would there be much of a speed gain if I went with the FastTrak 100
instead of the 66? Or would the difference be similar to race car waxing?

Also are there any known incompatibilities between the Deskstars and Promise
RAID cards that anyone knows of?
