I have a rather strange situation that I'm hoping someone can help me
with. I have a password-protected WordPerfect 5.1 file that I'd like to
read in Word. Normally, you can convert W.P. 5.1 files so that they're
readable in Word; but apparently, you can't do this with password-protected
files. I don't have W.P. 5.1 on my machine anymore; nor do I have a clue
as to what that password is. Is there any possible way to be able to
access this file in Word or in Notepad without knowing the password or
actually using W.P. 5.1 to get at it? I tried reading it in WordPad and
Notepad, but all I get is gibberish.
Thanks for any ideas any of you might have.
