Harry,

Notepad is a program not a file. If you are speaking about a file,
windows associates certain file extensions to open with certain files.
For example, .txt programs open with Notepad when selected in a list view
in windows Explorer.

Subject: opening a program in notepad, did I do it right?

Hi folks,
Harry back with another question.
I use a program and I wanted to open it with notepad. Here's what I did.
I went to the program I wanted to open, then pressed shiftf10 then down
arrowed to open with, then I pressed enter and then arrowed down to
notepad, then tabbed down to ok and pressed enter. The question I have
is will the program always open with notepad? Did I do it right?
Let me know, ok?
take care,
Harry
