I felt that this message is of importance to Window-Eyes Professional
users who have recently obtained Window-Eyes Professional.  I do not have
any further information than what is presented below.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR WINDOW-EYES PROFESSIONAL USERS:

The following information concerns Window-Eyes Professional (non-copy
protected) users only. Window-Eyes Standard users (and users of copy
protected versions of Window-Eyes Professional) are NOT affected:

If you are a Window-Eyes Professional user, and your Window-Eyes
Professional CD was shipped on or before March 22th, you will need to
follow some important instructions in order to resolve a problem wherein
Window-Eyes Professional turns into a demo and/or becomes expired. This
information is presented in three stages:

Stage 1:
We have already begun shipping out replacements for all defective CDs.
These replacement CDs are shipping UPS Blue (2 day), and contain both print
and Braille identification slips indicating that the new CD is a
replacement for the original CD. Another Braille label will be included on
the CD case. This label will consist of a row of dashes distinguishing it
from the original CD.

Stage 2:
Soon, Doug will be announcing a location to download a patch for the
demo/expiration problem of the Window-Eyes Professional production CD. This
download is only needed for those people who are currently experiencing the
timeout situation with Window-Eyes Professional. This patch is ONLY
available for the production version of Window-Eyes Professional. If you
are not experiencing this problem, or if you are running Window-Eyes
Standard (or a copy-protected version of Window-Eyes Professional), then
you do not need to download this file.

Stage 3:
Once you receive your replacement CD, you will need to uninstall your
existing copy of Window-Eyes professional, and re-install using your new
Window-Eyes Professional CD. Once you have Window-Eyes Professional
installed and working as advertised, you will need to destroy the original
CD. Pay special attention to the CD case and identifying information to
ensure that you destroy the proper CD.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this mishap may have caused. We
greatly appreciate your understanding and patience as we resolve this
problem. Our customers are our primary concern, and correcting this
situation is our first priority. If you have any questions, please contact
