the basic components to boot a system are:
1 memory
2 video card (maybe onboard)
3 motherboard with CPU/fan attached to a power supply

Your system won't post without the memory installed.
You can try stripping the system back to the basics above and try it again.
short the cmos reset jumper momentarily to reset the cmos to defaults
make sure you have the proper memory for the MSI motherboard
if it still doesn't post and you have it configured properly
(double check settings with your motherboard manual)
make sure your power supply is good and the board isn't shorted out
against the mounting plate anywhere.

If you have checked these things out it may be time to return it as a
defective board.
