This sounds like a mobo for a 486 machine or an early Pentium. My first
question would be will it boot up without the turbo feature and keylock
feature. Have you tried getting it to bootup without plugging in those
wires? The mobo on my Gateway PII system died on Xmas Eve 2000. I called
tech support and got these diagnoses: 1) your hard drive is toast; 2)your
power supply is gone; 3) your mobo is dead (this was the last techie I spoke
to). I had an Intel LX440 mobo, but replaced it with an ASUS mobo.
Although I had put sticky labels on every wire saying where each had been on
the old mobo, they did not match up with the ASUS mobo. It took me a while
to get those little wires right. I did it by trial and error, but I did not
and would not recommend that you do it with the machine running. What I did
was hunt down the gatherings of little pins which were along the front edge
and or bottom of my new mobo. If I found a two pin or three pin cluster
that would fit the wire I was trying to place I'd try it. I shutdown to do
it, then I'd reboot each time. Still, first question is will it start to
boot now that you have the new power supply? If not, it may be that your
mobo is toast.
