Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately there was a message on the screen
after the third lockup that ask if I wanted to eliminate the standby
mode. I clicked "yes" and this option is no longer available in the Power
Management Setup screen.
What else should I look for or try?
Are there any clues in the Registry? I have Norton System Works 2000 and
Fix-it 99 Utilities.
