FJC:
You never cease to amaze me. Your incessant rambling about nothing started
around 2 AM and did not end till about 4 AM Gambian time. Rejoicing about
Basiru Jawara - who in the past was well known for his support of the
Opposition - being at APRC rallies as if the die is cast and that this will
determine who he votes for on October 18th.
Given the human right's record of the regime you work for, no high profile
Gambian in his or her right sense of mind -- such as the esteemeed Basiru
Jawara - will risk their livelihood by openly criticizing the regime. The
guy is a very shrewd and astute businessman, evident by the business empire
he has managed to cobble together over the past few years. And since your
regime has managed to single-handedly sink the tourist industry in the
gutter, it would make sense for him to hope deep inside that a safer and
better country will arise from the Oct 18th elections. As a matter of fact,
I would assume that all those involved in the tourism trade would like to get
back the beautiful Gambia of yesteryear, not the horribly comical and sad
situation we have there now.
To digress for a minute, I could not help but notice that your rampage on the
L started around 2 AM and did not end till close to 5 AM Banjul time.
Therefore, I could not help but wonder what in God's name any reputable woman
with a life was doing up so late. I wonder what poor Mr. Ceesay was doing
there. I mean with all due respect, you should have been providing the man
with a bit of warmth and support at that time of the night. But the poor
fella was probably holding his inflamed nuts wishing you would come to bed
soon.
But, no, FJC was more interested in working extra time for the APRC instead
of sharing in and satisfying the wants of her husband. Or will you come up wi
th the excuse that you were up early for prayers and as such, involved in a
bit of pre-"Fajar' activity,
Woman, the depths you sink to....!
