It looks like we could work thru supporting groups indigenous to Iraq, like
the Kurds. I don't think Hussein is popular with Iraqi's. They fear him. To
topple a regime is foreign to our normal policy and could become costly in
lives, money and how we are seen by the world. I am for force when necessary.
I just don't see the necessity of it here. No one has demonstrated to my
satisfaction how much a threat is  in 2002 compared to say,1999. What's the
hurry.
