Hello Everyone,
I am writing because I am having a really difficult time. I lost my
Ontario Health Insurance Card in Ottawa-- no idea where-- looked
everywhere I had been for a week... Anyway, I am at home in London now,
and went to the Ministry Of Health Office to get it replaced. Took a taxi
because my Mom was at work... I had been told via phone that I NEEDED 3
pieces of ID to get a new card... They did not tell me one HAD to be my
birth certificate (which I lost about five years ago). So then the taxi
driver takes me to the courthouse, where one would get a birth
certificate, and the woman at the counter would not even help me fill out
the forms. I could not write in their tiny spaces. Then it turns out you
need a professional-- physician, lawyer, etc, to sign the form prior to
getting a cERTIFICATE... So I got neither of my forms of ID today-- but I did
type out my answers to the form, and get a professional and my Mom to
siign it on my behalf, so hopefully that will help. I WASTED $40 in cab
fare for NOTHING. Please pray that I have filled everything out right now,
and that they'll just give me my id. I was SOO MAD.
Pray that my appointments to meet with the therapist tomorrow, and for
intrathecal baclofen injection go better... ANYTHING HAS TO BE BETTER THAN
THIS! I just want the injection to work so I can receive the pump and get
off of morphine. clonazepam, oxazepam, etc.
Thanks.
Jenn
