argggggghhhhhhhhhhhh poor sis. I had a similar problem about a month ago.
I finally got the light fixture down to where I could work with it, yes I
stood on a step stool to reach it- NOT too wise buy hey, I live alone
too......lol and I proceeded to change the bulb. The bulb would NOT come
unscrewed. (ok now people, let's be nice here! LOL) I used pliers, I used a
handigrip thing that you use for opening jars... nothing worked. So I had
to have maintenance come in and do it. I felt inept...... but.. ready for
this....... He couldn't do it either! Ya know how I figured this out? Two
things... broken glass shards all over my desk and countertops! (messy) and
when I went to go throw those in the trash... I saw a papertowel with blood
on it- so he had to break the bulb and in the process got cut. Glad I was
smart enough to stop........ I had thought about breaking it- but thought
again......
