Well, this is a little radio/pager taht is out of service for public
safety, but I was surprised to hear that this radio which went for $1200
in 1986 according to my late grandfather has the crystals soldered in
there back then.  I guess it makes me sound old, but I wss only 9 when he
got that radio, and every time I would touch it it was always the same
line "D*mn it don't play with that."  I keep meaningtto search for someone
who has modified the Expo now that my local police havegone to 800 MHz
trunking now, so if anyone knows of someone preferebly blind who has done
anything let me know, and thnnks in advance.
