yes Steve, the IBM drive comes with a 'bootable' CD that fromats and setup
the drive for a new system. i think when it asks 'what system are you
planning to install' it tries to setup some kind of virtual floppy drive.
when it asks to put the OS Cd in i get the error message. I purposely bought
the full install Cd to avoid this!! Now whenever I turn on the system it does
the 'verifying pool data' and then says 'boot form CD: bootable Cd does not
exist, os not installed insert os setup disk and press any key. Now is it
possible theres a flaw on MS's CD? Can I read it on my good system to see?
