Hi All,

Everstream is a music streaming company that markets a music service to
other media outlets around the world. Most of the company's customers are
newspapers who offer Everstream's 50 channels of music on their web
sites. The channels of music available run the typical spectrum from
classic rock to world sounds and everything in between. Individual web
sites can customize the channels available and Everstream talks about user
customization being available later this year. Everstream requires that
you have Windows Media Player installed on your computer.

The thing I like about Everstream is that all the controls for skipping
songs, pausing or muting music and switching channels are displayed as part
of a web page that works well with JFW and Window-Eyes. The current track
and next song are also listed and all information can be reviewed with
either the JFW Virtual PC or Window-Eyes MSAA mode. A status line at the
bottom of the window, which can be read with Insert-Page Down in JFW or the
Window-Eyes equivalent, displays the total length of track and time
played. You'll want to do a quick Virtual PC or MSAA mode toggle off and
on to update track title info when a new song starts. The Help link points
back to a Microsoft Page on Windows Media Player so probably won't be of
too much value.

Within the player window, the only links missing alternative text are those
to download Windows Media Player and a link back to the host web site. The
player itself launches in a separate browser window.

You can visit <http://www.everstream.com/affiliates/main.htm> for a list of
all the web sites carrying Everstream. The list contains the name city and
state of the web site, a link back to that web site and finally a link
that's missing alt text that will launch the Everstream service related to
the web site listed. An example would appear like the following to JFW.

Milwaukee, WI

You can find the main Everstream web site at <http://www.everstream.com>.

The only contact info I could find was for sales info. Those wanting to
mention the missing alt tag issues might want to drop a polite note to the
following contact:
