One person can begin the change!

File an informal complaint under Section 255 of FCC laws!

I have done this, it only takes a description of why you find the phone 
inaccessible, your name, address, etc.  Beyond the filing, there is supposed 
to be a response from the FCC and the phone maker.

Actually, AAPD and AFB are involved in a consortium to help folks file the 
complaints, see the AFB blog online at http://www.afb.net and look for 
relevant postings by Paul Schroeder.
