Hi Ultra,
The problem of "what's holding you back" is a tie because buying a new
graphics card would relieve the CPU of various graphical calculations that
can be done in hardware on a new card; buying a new CPU would make those
calculations faster and thus improve the gaming experience as well.
I'd take the CPU simply because the video card price drops faster than
CPU price, and when you have money to buy the second component it will
cost less (or, maybe, even something better will hit the market for the
same price).
