David,

The front side bus should stay at 133, the CPU performs 2 data transfers per
clock cycle.

The sticky tape covers a thermal compound on the Volcano, you are not
supposed to need extra thermal grease. Be ready for the Athlon to run hot.
I have a 7k rpm Volcano on my 1.4 GHz and it runs normally around 55C,
sometimes as high as 60C.

Good luck,
Rand Blunck

(The front side bus is then set at twice CPU external Freq? Right?)

I also have a Volcano 5 Themaltake cooler. It has a piece of sticky tape
which says to remove before install. Is this some type of thermal compound?
Or do I need to also use thermal grease?
