>Do anybody know what does mean this message ?
SPD stands for Serial Presence Detect. Not very descriptive, except that it
refers to a small serial interface memory chip on the DIMM itself. This chip
contains information about the DIMM, including its rated speed, CAS latency,
etc. Many newer motherboards can read this and setup the timing parameters
for the RAM automatically.
The message you are getting is saying that it can't read the chip on one of
your DIMM's. Return it if you can, most DIMM's should have SPD, so either you
got the wrong one without SPD, or it is defective.
