some of my code from 28 years ago as a trainee are still being run and lots
of stuff older than that. that is why y2k scared the hell out of the powers
that be. they got retirees to come back to help with that stuff.

We're running "legacy" (read: ancient) CICS apps that are 30 years old!  The
wheels of gov't indeed turn very slowly!
