I just received a copy of the new version, "A Guide through the Medicine
Cabinet" from Stokes Pharmacy (actually compiled and written by Marcia
Milazzo). I am greatly distressed to see that Premarin and Prempro (both of
which I have taken at different times and presently taking Premarin) are
listed as NOT being gluten-free. I checked out Premarin not so long ago and
was assured that it was gluten-free. Thus, I will be calling the
manufacturer, Wyeth-Ayerst, tomorrow to confirm the status of both of these
drugs. If this is indeed true, it will affect many, many celiac women. I
will keep you informed. Jane in Maryland
