One of my clients that currently has a website ( www.abc.ca
<http://www.abc.ca/> ) wants to add a second site ( www.xyz.abc.ca
<http://www.xyz.abc.ca/> ). They are running their own web server on their
site utilizing IIS 4.0 with SSL being utilized. I have been getting mixed
stories from their ISP on what is involved in setting up the site. I believe
that nothing is required at the ISP level as the main domain is already
registered. I think that only an addition needs to be made to the dns
record. Does anyone know what needs to be added and if the URL should then
be www.xyz.abc.ca <http://www.xyz.abc.ca/> ? Many thanks for any help
extended.
