The traditional "joystick" controller port implemented on PCs is
designed (a) to be the only such port in the machine, and (b) to
support up to two controllers via a "Y" cable (purchased separately) -
- subject to application (game) support for a second controller.

  Of course, these old rules don't apply if your controller uses
something newer, such as USB....
