I got this recipe from my MIL years ago before I was allergic to dairy. I
simply substitute milk free margarine and the cookies are as elegant as
ever. I always double the recipe.
Kiffles
1 cup flour
1/2 cup milk free margarine
2 tablespoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix all ingredients together and chill for 1/2 hour. Make small balls with
your hands and roll each into a crescent shape. Bake at 375 degrees of 12 to
15 minutes or until lightly brown around the edges. Leave on pan for 5 to 10
minutes until slightly cool. Roll in powdered sugar then cool completely.
Dust with powdered sugar again.
