Our late grandfather ,Bai Mass Sosseh ,was the mechanical genius ,at the
marine dockyard half-die ,during the colonial era.He did not have formal
training in ship repairs ,but was very effective in doing so to the extent
that he helped european experts at the dockyard whenever they had problems
effecting repairs on ships used during world war II.
All ships used to come to Banjul for repairs in the sub-region. Banjul was
the only place with facilities for ship repairs and i believe is the same
till now.
Raye's Dad ,Uncle Gabbi Sosseh ,is Bai Mass Sosseh's son. Gabbi owned the
dockyard until the advent of the AFPRC.
My point is Raye's mechanical engineering ingenuity is enshrined in the
genes. Uncle Gabbi is also a mechanical engineer.

I'm sorry if i clog anybodies inbox with this but i thought as gambians ,we
need to know a bit about each other.
