The Liberian Association of Wisconsin, Inc. with offices in Madison,
Wisconsin, cordially invites you to a
two-day celebration of the Republic of Liberia's 151st Independence Day.
Yes, I mean 151st Birthday. Liberia became an independent Republic on July
26, 1847. And YES, about a year older than the State of Wisconsin.
The celebration includes:
A. FUNDRAISER DANCE
PARTY
WHEN: Saturday, July 25, 1998 at 9:00 PM
WHERE: Neighborhood House 29 S. Mills St., Madison, WI.
MUSIC BY: Teddy 'Melody' Amegashie
DONATION: 5.00.
Come and DANCE! DANCE!! DANCE!! all night to the best of Teddy 'Melody" .
No Food, please. Drinks will be sold. No formal program, just a snap shot
information
on the rich history of Liberia.
B. FAMILY PICNIC
WHEN: SUNDAY, JULY 26, 1998
WHERE: Elver Park., S. Gammon Road, Madison.
TIME: 12:00 P.M. til 7:00 P.M

Come and enjoy the day with your family and friends. Bring them all. There
