The Urban League of Greater Madison has the following part-time job
openings:

Volunteer Coordinator, Middle School Tutoring: Be part of a team
working
on a five-school project to recruit, screen, train, and place
volunteer
tutors with a special emphasis on math. Provide support to various
after-school academic programs. Encourage parental involvement.
Demonstrated ability to recruit volunteers from churches, services
clubs, and local businesses a strong plus.

Case Manager, Teen Parent Support Program: Provide support services to
teenage mothers with the aim of ensuring their continued enrollment in
school. Provide one-on-one case management and facilitate group
support/education sessions.

Project Coordinator, Martin Luther King, Jr. Youth Service Project:
Coordinate and organize activities of a community coalition to
encourage
volunteerism among middle and high school students.  Coordinate a
major
kick-off event on the Dr. King Holiday. Facilitate a youth council
that
guides project activities.

Education Specialist, HIV/AIDS Prevention Program: Knowledge of HIV
prevention messages. Experience working with high-risk populations
including men who have sex with men, gay youth, or injection drug
users.
Cultural competence a must. Must be available some evenings and
weekends.
