Here's a summary of the e-mails I received following mine mentioning that IKEA
in BC, Canada, also had the gluten free dessert products for sale.

Ikea sells two gluten-free desserts in their packaged food boutique.
(This boutique sells all kinds of specialty packaged foods from Sweden
or inspired by Swedish cuisine.)

There were two frozen treats. One was made by Almondy and it was
chocolate covered with an almost crust and it had chunks of toffee
pieces and almonds. The other, a cake/torte, is made by The Almond Baker
and it's called a Swiss Almond Torte.  They both said gluten-free on the
package and also that they contained no preservatives.


The U.S. distributor of one of the products has a website: www.almondy.com and

There was a suggestion that if we contact the distributor & let them know who
& where the market is for the product(s), that we can promote a wider
distribution.


These treats can sometimes be found in the Ikea in-store cafeteria as well as
single slice servings.  Apparently in some of the cafeterias the items
are labelled as being gluten free, however in the outlet I visited, this
was not the case.
