A friend has suffered greatly and has been trying to get tested. Her doctor
has refused saying that it is impossible for her to have celiac because she
is African American.  However, he did mention that his only celiac patient
was Spanish (They live in Seattle, Wash) .  She has asked me to post to the
list to, hopefully, receive responses that she could show to her doctor.  Is
there any evidence that African Americans cannot have celiac disease.
Please respond and I will summarize. Also, please keep in mind that your
responses will be shown to the doctor unless otherwise requested.   Thanks
