I've been asked a good question regarding my cholesterol summary. At one
point I said I eat "a little rice, potatoes & corn each day." At another
point I said I eat "lots of carbs each day." So which is it, a little or
a lot of carbs a day? The answer is yes, it is! LOL! I'll try to
clarify by quantifying. My usual amount of carbs a day amounts to about
2 or three servings, four if I indulge in a dessert. Compared to my
Atkins style diet one year ago, that's a "lot of carbs each day." But
compared to the nine starch servings recommended each day on the FDA's
food pyramid, which is the way I ate 4 years ago, that's only a "little
rice, potatoes or corn each day." I hope this helps. ~Valerie in
