    I agree with everything Kyle said. I would to emphasize that it not only
panhamdlers (beggars) you must watch out for, but also very clever pick
pockets.
I was teamed up on in the DC airport one night. A lady bent over as if she
had dropped something(it was a single file situation) and I waited and gave
her room. Her "team mate" behind me picked my wallet out of my front pants
pocket with all the ID I had.
