Actually, the higher my fluid intake the harder it is to "let go".  Girlie
anatomy is apples and oranges to guys post-bladder, that's why I queried the
men.

That depends, Kyle.  I generally have no problems going unless I've heavily
perspired, reduced my fluid intake, or both...  I generally find that two or
three bottles of water will get the pump primed again.  Maybe you need to
drink
more water?
