        Hi, gang,

I just returned from my branch of Citibank where one of the new talking
atm's has been installed. They have done a most excellent job! The bank
gave me a pair of earbuds to keep. The synthesized voice is Eloquence's
Reid. The menus talk the user through absolutely everything. And despite
the fact that the system uses a touch screen there is no problem; the
screen is divided into five zones: three along the bottom edge--left,
center and right as well as two for volume up and down on the top right and
left corners. There are also Braille labels along the bottom edge for
"next", "previous" and "select". This is an absolutely wonderful
advancement and Citibank is to be highly commended.
