at least. Seeds don't really ring my bell. X calories worth of, say
chicken, leaves me happy and satiated. The same amount of calories from
nuts leaves my hungry.

Strange. Maybe one should eat something else with them. I remember one of the
stories about my local Indians....when asked why they kept their acorn
granaries away from the village, the reply was that they would eat them all
if they were near by... so I guess they had the same problem. They generally
used to eat acorn porridge with deer meat.
