Hi! All,

After all my talk about moving to Orlando from St. Petersburg FL, but I decided to move to Berkeley CA. Is there anyone out there that knows about current specifics, other than that Berkeley is wheelchair accessible, Liberal and expensive? For example on the Internet apartments seem to start at $1000 per month. Is that accurate (in a decent area of course)? Tell me about the paratransit Can you use public transportation in conjunction with that or if you can use public transportation that makes you ineligible for the paratransit?

Is there anyone out there who can share details with me? I'm still waiting for Berkeley Center for independent living to return my call. Thanks!
