There will be an African American & Latino HIV/AIDS Health Summit to
discuss the crisis in the African American and Latino communities. The
event is free and all members of the community are welcome. It will be
held on August 19th at the Concourse Hotel, 1 west Dayton St. with
registration at 8:00. Lunch is included and will end at 2:45-3:00.

Mike McKinney will be the Master of Ceremonies and there will be two
keynote speakers talking about HIV/AIDS and Health Disparities in the
community.  Both the African American and Latino communities are
disproportionately affected by this virus. Dr Patricia Tellez Giron
from
the Latino Health Council and Dr. Pat McManus from the Black Health
Coalition will be the plenary speakers.
