Hi!
I have been GF for 2 years. Prior to that, I had 15 years of acid reflux hell
- Tums, Rollaids, Zantac, Axid, etc. It got a little better on the diet, but
some foods still set it off. About a year ago I started taking ginger at the
first sign of stomach upset, gas and nausea ... and now seem to only get acid
reflux if I don't take it. It might be an alternative for some. It may be a
coincidence in helping the acid reflux - but it beats any gas & nausea
medication out there for our whole family now.
And if anyone has more info on ginger, I'd love to read it... Thanks to a
VERY slow waiter last week - I found that ginger even stops the pain from
drinking a large Strawberry Margarita on an empty stomach (I know, I'm a
lightweight - but it hurt like hell and the ginger saved the evening ... and
probably everyone's shoes!)
Best of Luck!
Sincerely,
Christie in St. Louis
