Thanks to everyone who responded to my query as to whether the putty used
for making tooth impressions is gluten free.  Most of the people who replied
said they thought it was gluten free and in most cases didnt have any
reaction but they also recommended that I phone my dentist to find out the
name and phone number of the manufacturers of the putty and any other
materials used and phone the manufacturers myself to check that it was all
gluten free.

A dentist whose wife is a celiac also responded and gave me his phone number
if I needed any advice but I am not sure whether he meant me to publish it
on here so I'd better not.
