I've been gf since the end of April and feel some better. Two weeks ago
I developed a couple of strange blisters with a rash near the corner of
my mouth. It won't go away. After researching this website:
http://www.aafp.org/afp/980301ap/pruessn.html I found a picture of it
and the name "Angular cheilitis". It says it is related to Celiac
disease. Now - how do I get rid of it? I don't know of any gluten in
my diet. All of a sudden I've become sensitive to everything. I seem
to cough after eating sometimes but can't figure out which food is
causing the problem. I have asthma and this is an asthmatic cough so I
assume it's due to the food I'm eating. My abdominal pain is pretty much
gone. I never had diarrhea (even prior to diagnosis of gluten
sensitivity) but stools still aren't "normal". I've already eliminated
milk, eggs, yeast, gluten. I'm very frustrated and need a "pep talk".
Anyone with the same type white blisters near their mouth - how do I get
rid of them? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Jill/Texas
