1. Doonald Kasarda Ph.D. states that all maltodextrins in the USA are
made from cornstarch at this time and are therefore safe for celiacs.

2. Maltrodextrin is a purified, concentrated, nonsweet mixture prepared
as a white powder or concentration solution ... of cornstarch, potato
starch or rice starch.....so maltodextrin is gluten-free.          Refer
to www.glutenfreediet.ca

3. The above has a huge impact on selection of foods based on the
inclusion of maltodexytrin in the list of ingredients.
